And Good Morning,
So we’re still killing people in other countries, (Putin) claiming other countries belong to someone else (Putin), (Obama). This is basically the history of civilisation. Maybe even before civilisation. When does it end? Where does it end? In tracing our family ancestry, my academic cousin said, “ Geez, if we go back far enough, we’re all related to Jesus Christ.” Can’t we just shut up and live with what we have and where we are? Apparently not.
Okay. And abortion. The year you say is 2022 and abortion is still an issue. In this country. US of A. After 50 years of the women’s rights movement, women still don’t know how NOT to get pregnant? Are there not more methods of birth control available to anyone who seeks them? Often free (I mean paid for by taxes which we mostly all pay). I include men in that question. Men who are left out of the discussion. What do they think of all this? I think I know. For instance, there is a young man running for governor in our state who proudly tells the TV camera in the commercial that he will never stop a women’s choice for abortion for whatever the reason when he is elected.
Doesn’t that just work out nicely for men? Men are responsible for 100% of pregnancies. Whether it’s normal intercourse, rape, marriage, non marriage, semen donation, IVF. I’m sure I’ve missed a way. My point is that for the past 50 years men have been given a legal pass for having responsibility in a woman’s pregnancy. I’m sure there are millions of instances where a man didn’t even know he impregnated a woman. And he probably was already on to the next woman. Get in line, ladies, you can always get an abortion. Free, because the United States Constitution says it will pay (with our taxes) for your indiscretions and lack of responsibility towards the body you say you want sole control over. And see how it works – men don’t have to pay either.
I am not talking about receiving devastating news about a pregnancy. To me, that’s something between a physician and patient. Not the government. Federal or local.
Oh no. I’m ranting again.
Adios
