I checked out a couple of my favorite bloggers, one of whom seems to be happier these days, and saw for about the hundredth time during this ridiculous year, they are talking about pants. After extolling the virtues of the $100+ jeans, they say you can find good, comfortable jeans for less than $100.
I’ll say. I have a drawer of jeans that I’ve paid nearly that much for that I do not wear. They fit, but not comfortably. I return for a different size. I return for a different style. Too long. Too short. Uncomfortable.
I have found the perfect fitting pants, which I hate to admit sorta, and they are from Target. The brand is Universal Threads. In the past year, I’ve purchased four pairs. Different colors, different styles. And they all fit and are comfortable. I’m wearing a pair right now. Well under $100, well under $50.
I’m reading the book “King Leopold’s Ghost” about the Belgium king who joined the rest of Europe to seek fortune in the African Congo. Extremely interesting. I will share more later. And perhaps a cocktail recipe. Yes, Sven is mastering the art of the cocktail during these Covid times.
Bye bye
