I don’t consider myself a conspiracy wonk, but I have to admit that cov19d couldn’t have happened at a better time for the haters of this country. (Now I have to type this with one hand because Smaller Black Cat is insisting on sleeping on my left arm.) And as for the why would China release a virus into their own country and the rest of the world, I would say look at China, I don’t think they care about who they’re hurting. Isn’t there sort of like, you know, kinda like, a global notion to cut down on the population? And isn’t it convenient that Covid is particularly lethal for the elderly and people with health issues? Even Oprah Winfrey said things will be better once all the old white people die. Sounds a wee bit racist but someone had to say it. Also sounds like something someone who is very priveledged can say without recrimination.
Another thing helping socialism along is the closing of businesses. I think it’s simply a matter of getting more people in the welfare system and dependent on the government. Remember when Obama put a zillion more people on welfare and foodstamps? Is that really a good thing? Is it to show other countries that we have crushing poverty, too, just like third world countries? Who hasn’t heard the USA as having the fattest poor people in the world?
Air travel, tourism, just barely hanging on. Isn’t abandoning air travel part of the Green new deal? Mission nearly accomplished.
Defund (or get rid of the police)? I won’t be on board with that until they add a little something to the slogan: “We’ll teach our children to behave.”
As for confusion, I’m afraid these young socialists don’t understand what it is. More on that tomorrow.
