Still married after all that noise

And good morning,

It’s not morning. It’s lunchtime and I thought this would be a good time to do this because my husband is chewing potato chips and I simply cannot stand another minute of his crunching, galvanising and whatever else he does to create all that noise. When the kids were younger, my daughter would cry about the noise. It embarrassed her she said, I guess even when it was just the four of us. My son would plaster his hands against his ears. I would turn the TV up several hundred decibels. And Sven, you asked, he just continued eating the only way he knew how. Noisily. And it wasn’t just potato chips.

Speaking of Sven, it was our anniversary yesterday and we celebrated the same way we always have. A long john for breakfast and dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. It had just reopened 3 days earlier after being shutdown since the first closures for Covid. The owner/chef had said early on that he didn’t want to open until he could be sure he could give diners a quality meal and experience. Mission accomplished! It was wonderful and we felt very safe because of the care they take regarding the virus.

And just as a side note, he doesn’t chew like that when we are out. So what’s up with that? He’s trying to annoy us, right.

Adios!
