And Good Morning,
So I visited my favorite blogger first thing this morning and was pleasantly surprised that she featured a recipe. It looks good and I printed it up for a future dinner. What’s better than a bowl of creamy wild rice soup!
We went out last night for dinner and lamented over our Negronis that the restaurant was emptier than usual (you know, the old 25% Covid rule). But by putting our two heads together, we realized it was only 5pm so you know we were at the “early bird” seating, ie., for people who go to bed at 7:30. Haha. By the time we left, the place was hopping which was great to see. So many restaurants are closing.
FYI. A Negroni is fairly easy to make: 1 oz gin, 1 oz Campari and 1 oz sweet vermouth. Stir ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish if you want with a lemon or orange wedge. Deliziosa!
I have a project I’m starting today. I’m prepping a wall to paint. That way, I’m going to have to get it done. Can’t have blue tape all over the place for too long. It gets dusty, Haha, I know this.
Have a great day!
