And Good Morning,
Well the election is sort of over, though it will probably be days before we have a winner. Let’s not think about it.
While on my morning walk with one of my dear friends, she started talking about all the things we’ve witnessed in our lives. We are the same age and have pretty darn good memories. I think what brought the topic to her mind was the election, but let’s not dwell on it. We have seen or experienced a lot. We were young during the Vietnam War and knew people who were drafted and fought for this country. They didn’t want to I’m sure, but back then I guess they thought things were worth fighting for, although many of them didn’t. We witnessed the Nixon years, the Carter years, the Reagan years, Bush, Clinton and Bush Years, Obama years and now Trump years. Oops, I almost started talking about it, you know, what is suppose to and always has been, a peaceful exchange between incoming president and outgoing president. That sure didn’t happen when Trump was elected and I don’t think it will ever happen again.
Enough said, already. It is a beautiful day! I may rake more leaves just so I can be outside. I also have to return a very expensive pair of pink sneakers I bought online. But before I do that, I am going to see if I can find a different pair of pink sneakers locally. Ordering online and returning. Who isn’t doing that right?
